Calgary is home to Scott and his family where he is a proud full-time Alberta-licensed REALTOR® at RE/MAX Real Estate (Central), the world’s top producing RE/MAX office now 19 years running.

In his younger years Scott served in the military and worked within government agencies while attending to his studies at the University of Manitoba.  It didn’t take long for him to realize that his passion is for Real Estate, and since then he has done everything he can to experience as much of the industry as possible – from buying and selling, to recreational real estate, to title insurance, finance, and everything in between.

Scott has pursued personal betterment through such programs as the Canadian Professional Sales Association, where he obtained certification with distinction, as well as various real estate industry-specific educational programs.  Fluent in both English and French, Scott specializes in both Buyer and Seller Representation trading in Urban, Suburban, and Country Residential properties including Single Family detached and attached homes as well as Condominiums.

Scott’s clients describe him as professional, experienced, hard working, responsive, and personable.  It is his belief that trust is earned and not given and he makes it a priority to see that his clients’ interests are looked after before, during, and after the transaction.

On a personal level Scott spends most of his free time enjoying life with his wife and two sons, and has an interest in physical fitness, the occasional round of golf, and intellectual pursuits such as physics and cosmology.  Travel and boating are two activities he especially enjoys when he can find the time away from a busy work schedule.

Scott Brayshaw has passion for real estate

Having a passion for real estate and always keeping the clients’ best interests at heart has led to many repeat clients and referrals for local REALTOR® Scott Brayshaw.

“What I love most about being a REALTOR® is the satisfaction that comes with helping my clients find their perfect home,” Brayshaw says. “I’m honoured by their gratitude and the reward of repeat and referral business that comes from a job well done. “I have a real passion for real estate and love being able to work with so many different people helping them through the whole buying and selling process so they can realize their real estate goals,” he says.

Brayshaw actually started out pursuing an engineering degree and spent many of his younger years serving in the military, but “I always had a fascination with real estate and the opportunity to jump head first into the industry finally presented itself when I made the move to Alberta in 2001.” He has since pursued any opportunity to further develop his knowledge and experience in the industry and recently obtained certification with distinction from the Canadian Professional Sales Association – a program that promotes ethical conduct and best practices among sales professionals. Brayshaw started out selling real estate for various developers in Canmore and founded a small development company, which is still operating, before moving to Calgary and eventually joining RE/MAX Real Estate Central.

While he’s part of a RE/MAX team, Brayshaw enjoys working one-on-one with his clients. “I’m very hands-on in all aspects of the trade, and I like my clients to know that they can reach me anytime and anywhere. “I take it personally that they are relying on me to assist with what is often one of their most important financial transactions, so I make sure I’m always available and I make use of today’s technology to keep them constantly informed,” Brayshaw says. “I understand and appreciate that buyers and sellers have a great deal of choice when it comes to selecting a REALTOR®, and for this reason I work diligently to reinforce in the client that they have made the right choice by continually placing the client’s priorities above my own in the matter of their real estate transaction,” he says. “I also develop strong and lasting relationships with clients – a reward that extends well beyond receiving a paycheque.”

He admits he couldn’t be as dedicated to his clients as he is without the support of his wife and their two sons, and the team of REALTORS® he works with who ensure his clients are taken care of if he’s away. While Scott has a great deal of experience and confidence with condominium properties, he also has the expertise and knowledge to help clients buy and sell single-family homes, acreages and even commercial properties. As for Calgary’s real estate market in the near future, Brayshaw is “very optimistic, largely due to the ever-increasing attractiveness of the city as a place to live, work and raise a family. I believe we will continue to see growth, and I look forward to evolving with the industry as we move into the future.
