Charles Dickens’ classic tale of redemption focuses on Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserly business owner who abhors Christmas and all measures of sentimentality. But that all starts to change when he is plagued by ghosts and his own memories on Christmas Eve. Theatre Calgary’s run of A Christmas Carol includes a special landmark this year: lead actor Stephen Hair is taking on the role of Scrooge for the 25th time.
